Easter Festivities

What a relaxing easter weekend we had!

Saturday evening we had an easter egg hunt over at Mimi & Papa's house.
The weather was wonderful!
I love Arizona in the spring.
I think my two favorite holidays have become Easter and Thanksgiving - because we get to enjoy them outside in the perfect Arizona weather!

Here are some pictures of the easter egg hunt:

Cannon so proud of the egg he found in Papa's chair.

Sweet Lily.
I didn't get any pictures of her hunting her eggs!
She was too fast for me.
Why can't my kids just smile normally for a picture?

After the easter egg hunt ended.
Cannon couldn't wait to bust open his eggs.

Icing easter cookies.
Notice the focus.
Just like Daddy.

More focusing . . .

Not focused at all, just eating icing.
That's a boy after my own heart.

Cuddling with Mimi.

Man I love having braces.
Aren't Mimi & Papa's flowers gorgeous?

In other news . . .
- I have my makeover tomorrow. Stay tuned for my new hair and make-up.
- Lily refuses to take a nap in anything but a leotard, but at least she still naps!
- Cannon chipped his OTHER front tooth last night. Lovely. He really looks like a true hillbilly now. Nothing against hillbillies, I just sayin'. I'm seriously contemplating trying to see if he will sit still long enough for Dave to fix them . . .
- Dave tried to convince me to let him buy a "loaded" 2003 Cadillac Deville on craigslist yesterday, "because it would be so comfortable". I'll let you guess what my answer was?

easter peek

We had our second easter egg hunt this evening.
I'm too tired to post more pics, but here is my favorite part of the night - Cannon & Daddy's matching outfits.

I'll post more tomorrow or Monday.
I promise.
You know you can't wait.

Hoppy Easter

Lily's first Easter was a good one. She spent it with her cousins, Jack and Gracie. We promised the kids that if they were good at church on Sunday that the Easter Bunny would come to our house and visit them, and she did . . .

Lily's nanny loves Easter and dresses up as the Easter Bunny every year and goes and visits all the little kids that she knows, so she was nice enough to come over and visit our house!!

Lily wasn't sure if she liked the Easter Bunny or not, as she's a little scared of anyone that isn't her Mom, Dad, or her cousin Jack (she is obsessed with Jack, and laughs at everything he does, it's hilarious).
