HUGE.

People keep saying they want to see a picture of my belly. I haven't had a chance to take one, so I'll post a picture of my kid instead. I think that is a good trade. If you want a visual of me just think of a
pumpkin stuck in someone's shirt and an watermelon in the seat of their pants and you'll have a good idea of what I look like.

We got grass in our front yard last weekend and it was FREE. Our neighbors ordered like three times as much sod as they needed for their yard, so they gave the extra to us. I let Lily play in the dirt one last time and she found the muddiest spot in the yard and went to town.

She's super into picking out her shoes right now. It's pretty amusing. The other day I put her in this little dress and she was dead set on wearing her "slipper shoes" as she calls them. Here is a picture of her in the "adorable" outfit.

Only 25 more days left until this little guy is supposed to arrive!!

Details

Ok - here are the details . . .
  • I'm 12 weeks pregnant on Sunday.
  • My official due date is March 23rd.
  • We WILL be finding out if we are having a boy or girl, so I'll keep you posted
  • At our first check-up, the doctor thought their were TWO babies after looking at the ultrasound, Dave turned green and almost fainted. After a second ultrasound the doctor decided maybe there was just one . . . we're hoping there is just one.
  • No we weren't "trying", some people plan on having kids 19-months apart, we were aiming for at least 24-months. We were a little shocked at first, but now we're thrilled!! Apparently we need lessons on PREVENTION.
  • We bought a house in Gilbert, AZ last month and will be moving soon, hopefully at the beginning of October, but we're not sure yet, we'll keep everyone posted.
  • Dave found a great opportunity in Mesa that he is extremely excited about. His office is across the street from Mountain View High School on Brown Rd. Feel free to stop by for all your dental needs.
  • My stomach seems to be growing much faster than the first time. And, for those of you who get sick when you are pregnant, I'm sorry. I don't get sick. I sometimes forget I'm pregnant other than the tightening of my pants. Unfortunately for me that "tightening" doesn't just occur in the belly. I seem to experience tightening in the HIP area as well.
