my mini-boyfriend

Is it bad that I have a "sort-of-kind-of-mini-crush" on Cannon?

Not in a gross way, but in a "he-looks-like-Dave" kind of way.

I had this conversation with Annie and Aunt Nell last week and they both felt the same way about their sons. . . or maybe they were just saying that so I didn't sound crazy.

Don't get me wrong, I don't love him more than Lily or anything, it's just interesting to note the differences in my feelings for Lily and for Cannon.

And, this is my journal, so I have to document those feelings, right?

Anyway, we had a cousin FIESTA at Mimi's this morning.

Lily, Cannon, Carlee, Jackson, Claire, Will, Abby & Daxton all had a great time playing!

Annie's getting induced tomorrow with baby #2 so we had to have one last playdate before her life changes drastically!

He LOVES his Papa and everytime we go over there he always asks for Papa.

I just got a phone with video and I have been loving taking more videos of the kids without having to carry anything but my phone!

Cannon never seems to tire of playing with that jack-in-the-box and I thought the boys "hollering" for Papa out the window was adorable.

I am a survivor

Well, we survived day one!
It actually was pretty good.
Definitely more hectic than normal, but my nieces are good girls so that makes things easier.
The real treat was Mimi coming over at about 3:30.
Oh how the kids love their Mimi.
I had to take someone dinner last night so that would NOT have happened had Mimi not come over to help!
When Daddy came home we let the older girls and Cannon swim.
They had a blast!

"Sharing" me is good for him.

Well I better get a few things done before the little baby wakes up from her morning nap!

Fun Family

We had a fun weekend with Rob and Corinne in town! Lily was loving playing with her cousin Kyson. According to Kyson, he needed to hold her hand so that no one would "get her".


There are horses by Mimi's house and the kids LOVE feeding them. Mimi bought two huge bags of carrots for the weekend so that the kids would have plenty to go around. I didn't get to go down there and feed the horses with them, but from what I can tell Lily isn't shy around the horse. Mimi said that she was about to get her hand eaten off because she wouldn't let go of the carrot as the horse was eating it!!


Cannon is doing good and his sleep is getting better! I'll post some pictures of him soon.

Oh, and my friend Linz did family pics for us on Saturday so I'm excited to be able to post some of those!
