He's still the best daddy ever. After going in early for a patient who didn't want to have to miss work. After dealing with people all day. After biking 20 miles to and from work.
Seriously.
I don't even deal with half of what he does all day, and by 6:15 pm (when the video was taken) I'm not winning any "best mom" awards.
Not that I was going to win any of those awards anyway.
p.s. - Lily is instructing him to be a phantom. She learned all about phantom's, witches, and scary people from her cousin Kyson.
p.p.s. - While it looks like Cannon was practicing his "come hither" modeling poses, he is actually trying to show Daddy his diego band-aid.
Daddy was home on Friday. It was a great day. The kids CRAVE their Daddy. They attack him constantly when he is home. It's funny because every time I watch the kids light up for Daddy, I have this feeling that our family isn't complete. I know there will be more little munchkins loving Daddy's attention. It's gonna be fun. This isn't an announcement, just a thought . . . :o)
The "dog pile".
Don't you just love the smile on Lily's face in this picture? So happy to be with Daddy.

We L•O•V•E our Daddy.
We surprised him with a weekend getaway! He is mountain biking in Sedona with some friends. We hope he is having fun!
(Lily and Dave yesterday afternoon in the backyard - she had just woken up from a nap and was happy just to relax on Daddy's lap)
(Picture taken by the Pied Piper in April. More of those pictures will be posted soon! We love them Linz!)
Happy Father's Day. You are great! You make our children SO happy. I wish everyone could see how excited Lily & Cannon get when you come home from work! I'll have to take a video and post it on here soon!
So Lily is on week two of her swimming lessons. They are four days a week for four weeks. The teacher comes here to our house so that's really nice. I just play with Cannon in the front room and watch her out the window, she's hilarious. Always negotiating with the teacher . . . that's my girl.
She was a little afraid to put her face in early last week, but once she got in the pool with her Daddy on Thursday night (a Daddy she would do anything to please) he got her swimming across the hot tub and picking up rings, money, etc. off the bottom of the pool!
Here is a little video of the negotiator:
Can't wait to see more progress over the next few weeks. She still has a long way to go, but she's doing great!
If anyone is looking for a swim instructor to come to their house give me a call and I can get you Hilary's info!
p.s. she LOVES the goggles and refuses to take them off right now. that's gonna make for some really cute raccoon eyes.
Poor Lily is just getting rid of her bruise on her cheek from falling on her scooter, and she goes and falls face first off of the swing last night! Poor thing was bleeding and crying, and begging to get back on the swing!! Crazy girl.
I'm just glad we had some witnesses last night so that when CPS does call we have someone to verify our story. (Jensen's and Hatch's, you better back us up)
This picture doesn't really show you the damage, but it gives you an idea. Once again, I'm grateful for a husband who is calm in situations like these. I just handed her off to him and let him look her over, and this time it was even his area of expertise!
