The other day Lily was talking on her phone, probably to Courtney (she does this a lot, I can't imagine why). Anyway, I was trying to get her attention and she looks up at me and says, very matter of factly, "Mommy, I'm on the phone. Be PATIENT." I seriously laughed out loud - where do you think she learned that?

So fun, we also went to Mother Nature's Farm yesterday. It was a lot of fun. I love the “be patient” comment. Our kids definitely keep us in line!

they learn so quickly, don't they? The other day when I was helping my little g-daughter get ready for preschool, I asked her how she wanted her hair. Her reply...."like Barack Obama"! Her mom and I just looked at each other and laughed. Where she came up with that we had no idea! But if was a sure reminder of who has been hitting the news a lot lately!

Cute, cute, and more cute! GREAT pictures. It's amazing to me that Lily has such a huge vocabulary already that she's talking that fluently. This is definately the stage to catch all of the "out of the mouths of babes" comments.
